Marbella, Costa Rica is a small town located on the coastal road that runs along the Nicoya Peninsula.  It is a small unremarkable Costa Rican town with few accommodations options, but the beaches less than a mile from town have incredible hollow waves.

Marbella is a beach break that is formed by an outer reef that focuses wedging A-frame peaks onto the shallow sandbars closer to shore, where it tends to throw super clean barrels.  Marbella works best on a low to mid incoming tide with a shoulder to head high swell.
